Natural Disconnection Behavior of Avatars in Immersive Virtual Reality
As part of my work on the research project SHELLS, I developed a social virtual reality application in Unity that can handle up to 50 participants simultaneously to participate in a remote lecture. Mixed Reality is not only presented as lecture content, but also used as a medium: students join the lecture remotely in an immersive virtual classroom via a head-mounted displays and experience the teaching content hands-on. This project is also further descriped in the news on mixed.de.
